Giuliana Del Duca From: Haddonfield, New Jersey School: Susquehanna University Major: Sports Media with a Minor in Communications Job Experiences: Barry's Do Me A Flavor (2021- 2024): I worked at Barry's Do Me A Flavor for four summers working as a busser, food runner, cashier, and Ice cream scooper. I started working at Barry's in 2021 and ended working there in 2024. Seashell Beach Resort and Restaurant (2025- now): I started working at Seashell Beach Resort and Restaurant this past summer as a hostess and will be upgraded as a waitress once it is my time to be one. Babysitter (2018-now): I have been certified as a babysitter, I took a class at Red Cross to become certified, learning CPR on adults and babies. I babysit for many families in my hometown. I babysit all my cousins' children and friends of my cousins as well. Since I am from a big family, I always have babysitting jobs. Sports Trainer (2020-2022): I trained a little girl in my neighborhood on how to play basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. I played all three sports growing up, so I could help her learn the basic rules and ways to play. Awards: National Girls & Women in Sports Award: I won this my senior basketball season as the captain of the team. I went to a girls Rutgers Basketball game in New Brunswick, New Jersey. I was called down at halftime of the game with all the other winners to do a little walk on the court to be recognized. J. Fithian Tatem Award: I won this award at my Senior Awards Ceremony. This award was based on character and personality. Award from a past student's (not sharing the name of student) family: I won this award at my Senior Awards Ceremony. This award was only given to one student. This family started a scholarship fund at my Highschool after their son died young and made the award be given out to a student whose personality and drive was like the student. I was given this award and was called into the superintendent's office to hear his story. Leadership: Captain of the Girl's Highschool Basketball Team i: I was a senior captain on the basketball team; I played three years varsity and was rewarded with the captain role. I was the only senior on the team, but the role is not just given to anyone, you must earn the role from our coach and show the leadership role, or you will lose it.
