Instructions

Follow in order
  1. Select a storyboard (use one from your team members).
  2. Export the storyboard as a PDF (2 rows × 3 columns).
  3. Get an iPad for “slating”.
  4. Assign crew members:
    • Director
    • Camera
    • Audio
    • Actors
    • Scribe / Production Notes (you might need to double up on this)
  5. Record your version of the storyboard.
  6. Log your shots.
  7. AirDrop your footage to the shared drive (ask for help on this).

Suggestions

Make it clean
  • Frame your shots well.
  • Keep the camera rolling for 5 seconds longer than you think you need.
  • Make sure you actually recorded your shots.
  • Be careful shooting outdoor light through windows — it’s really bright. Stick with indoor light only if you can.
