My name is Emily Dimmick. I am a sophomore biology student at Susquehanna University. I focus in cell biology and genetics, and I plan to continue my academic career by attending grad school for genetic counseling.
I participate in student research where I extract gold nanoparticles from pomegranate juice. We observe the effects of these nanoparticles on THP-1 mammalian cells to test their anti inflammatory properties.
In my free time, I like to crochet, play the violin, listen to music, and garden.
